ESCODEC Welcomes Students from Lycée LACHENAL
ESCODEC recently had the pleasure of opening its doors to about forty students from Lycée LACHENAL's preparatory classes for highly selective professional school.
The goal of this immersion was to introduce them to the world of industry, especially the often-overlooked field of micromechanics.
After a presentation about the company in a meeting room, illustrated with an overview of its various business sectors and applications, the students explored the production workshop. There, they observed the famous ESCOMATIC machines, a unique technology for machining very small diameter parts (from Ø0.4 mm to Ø6.5 mm).
The visit was organized to showcase every step of a part's manufacturing cycle: from the reception of raw materials to shipping, including production, quality control, and other complementary services (grinding, automatic sorting machines, etc.).
The students were impressed by the company's level of technology: "I was blown away by the precision and speed of the processes, especially for such tiny parts!" "Even recycling is optimized, right down to filtering the water and oil. Everything is thought out in the smallest detail."
It was a moment rich in exchanges with curious, insightful, and enthusiastic students. A big thank you to them for their visit and their interest!
